Empire of the Iguanadons

So we got a little bored at work today and while the boss was away, someone decided to go to YouTube to find out what a camel spider looked like. Well. It wasn't long before this gem of a video showed up in the results:

Well. I guess that's that then.

Ok, that was fairly gross... and played havoc with my antiquated FireFox too. *sigh* ...can't argue with the Randomness categorization though...

But it was on my mind and I figured would make a nice debut for the YouTube bbcode tag.

In what way is it playing havoc with Firefox?

It's just the problems my antiquated (version 1.0.7) Firefox handles shockwave/flash, it calls something called swfdec-mozilla-player which tries to lock up on me, I have the same issues if I try to visit Kayle's forums in my old firefox browser due to his shockwave/flash banner at the top, and when I try to vote at topmudsites it's every few clicks because so many of their banner ads are flash/shockwave too. *shrug*

Basically, it's not really something you can do anything about, but it means that until you get around to posting a few more blogs so that the video's not on your front page anymore, I'll be visiting in opera instead.

This is obviously a late reply, but check your flash version. I've found that using Flash 6 ( the default for IE of all things ) causes the youtube box to be pretty much unusable. That may account for why you got bad results too. I don't think the browser itself makes a lot of difference.
