Shakin it in Lennox
So California is at it again. No, not stupid political stuff, just some good old fashioned rockin and rollin down in Lennox tonight. At around 8:40pm a 5.0 earthquake hit just east of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and was felt over a fairly wide area of Southern California. Around here, we rarely pay much attention until they hit at least 4.0 - initial magnitude on the report generated immediately following the quake had it at 4.7 but was revised upward to 5.0 within only a couple of minutes. All the wonderful geeky details can be had from the USGS.
An aftershock measuring 3.1 followed around 8:45pm but was not felt very far away from the original epicenter.
As far as myself, no damage or other junk to worry about. By the time it got here about all that was left of it was stuff rattling on the walls and a very slight rocking motion in the floor for about 5 seconds. Probably wouldn't even have noticed it had the shelf full of dragons not been vibrating more than the usual trucks passing by.

Very glad to hear that there were no casualties amongst your dragons.
