State of the Union 2013
"Lying Sack of Shit" best describes how I feel about him tonight. I know, big surprise, right?
Pic very much related.
RIP United States of America
July 1776 - November 2012.
@Fury: That was my joke the other day on here... but it wouldn't be Samson, or even us over here, first Russia, then the US and Cuba.. seems pretty worldwide to me, in fact, at that rate y'all or China or some such should be next.
Yeah sorry i missed it, it was on the previous page and did not see it till just now.
China has been developing a huge smog cloud over their entire country for the last 30 years to obscure vision of it from space, thus making targeting it programmatic. China has a history in this regard in making big things to protect itself, Great Wall of China, of course the obvious example, used in the reign of Emperor Nasi Goren, to keep the rabbits out. (See:' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvlWQyvEI38)'
As for us Aussies, we are too insignificant and drunk a nation to notice what the buggery is going on anyways. So, me bogans, where is me beers.
I guess I didn't just imagine seeing this outside my window last night.
It's The Horkerpocalypse. Must be.
With all these meteors in rapid succession (well ones of significant enough size to catch the world's attention like this anyway), one has to wonder if we're passing particularly closely to the meteor belt this year or something.
And yeah, I think it's obvious we're passing through a larger meteor cloud than usual. Perhaps there was an asteroid collision recently.
The horker, I take it is something out of Skyrim.. what you'd use it for here, I have no idea...
Either that or someone really is directing these meteors at us. Maybe, that'd explain it nicely.
You'd think that if either were the case, our boys at NASA would be making an announcement to allay the fears of the mob that this is all we'll be seeing or how many more there are still expected.. maybe even where they're expected to strike.
Bloody rain, QLD is back on flood alert, yet again, I am totally over it. Must be time for another drought, this wet weather is just not fun anymore.
Y'know, I found it hilarious when ABC News 24 was sending out flood warnings AND fire warnings simultaneously earlier in the summer (of course, it isn't funny for the people affected).
I can understand why it'd sound ironic hearing simultaneous flood and fire warnings, but it's actually kind of logical that they might come together. Not only might flooding bring down power lines, but the rains that bring that flooding is likely to have lightning accompanying it. Having served in the Navy, I would also point out that a fire in the midst of water can be the worst case scenario since you obviously can't fight that fire with water.
