A small Nordic village in the lower Jerall Mountains, north of the Frostcrag area. Black Rock Inn serves as the primary means of local support, while trade in hides and leather goods made in the local shop serve as their ties to the rest of Cyrodiil. They live a reasonably isolated life but welcome visitors from far away places. Some well known people have passed through on their way through the back country, as Feldscar is one of the few places to escape the biting cold of the mountains.

For the inauguration of file comments. Is everyone able to download this mod ok and does it unpack once you do?

Seemed to download just fine for me, despite it's massive size, and it uncompressed without complaint. I've further modified my oblivion.ini file so I'll have to let you know once I get a little more computer time tonight whether there were any other problems with it.. assuming I do get a little computer time in tonight and have internet. We're leaving to go down to Houston to help my wife's uncle get one of his houses ready for sale and won't be back until sometime Friday, so if we don't have internet there, guess I'll get to play catch up when I return... try not to flood the RSS on me before I check back in just in case I can't catch it again until Friday.

Although, oddly, this download was a whole 1m smaller than the first time I downloaded (32.8m instead of 33.7). Is that just 7zip being weird? All the files inside were the same size.

Fatal errors have been happening pretty often since Samson starting playing with the underlying code for the site. Make the site relate well to most muds - there are death traps all over the place but no perma-death so no big deal. ;)

       
Well the particular fatal error in this case was from the active_users module. So I silenced error reporting on that since I don't care if it had a problem updating a line in that table. There's nothing I can do about it anyway so it makes no sense to have the code issue a fatal error over it.

       
Ah, that explains why I stopped getting them from comments to this part of the site. :lol:
So, basically it's a "fatal" error to have users online and posting? :rofl: :facepalm:

I've got to wait until tonight to redownload this one because of it's size, but knowing that I don't need to clean save first would be a very good thing.

       
No need to clean save. Nothing that got fixed was that bad off. Even if it had, it's been publicly released for some time now and I would have put in fixer scripts to deal with things that required it.

Good to know, fortunately, I hadn't gotten that far yet so when I do reach that point I'll know to choose carefully which weapon to have him make me. Is his bow or sword better?
