Arrius Creek and Verwen Brewery
If ever a village and a UL were meant for each other, this pair is it. Verwen Brewery and Arrius Creek mesh together like they belonged with each other. Yes, this did need to be patched to achieve it but that doesn't take away from the greatness of the moment.

Nice pic. I will add though, those flowwing river activators are a complete bitch to work with, and even when you get them together properly you are still left with all sorts of visual obscenities where they connect. In fact, I suspect that the bulk of the rocks along that creek are there simply to cover up the problems with the connections.

I wouldn't doubt that. They're definitely not easy to work with but I think the primary issue is the game engine itself not dealing with transparencies at mesh borders very well. Manipulating the landscape beneath them is incredibly hard as well.

Well, I've thrown in the boot when it comes to manipulating the landscape beneath them. Its all rocks now instead, though for the landscape that I'm working in that maybe isn't a bad thing visually.

Still, I probably shouldn't complain to much. I'm lucky that all these resources are just lying around for me in the first place...

I don't know about the UL or activators, but it's a very nice picture Samson. :)

Yay me! I remember making that patch. Things got confusing as on the same day I created the patch, Captain Chris released a UL-compatible version of Verwen Brewery. I think in the end the patch was only needed when using both ULs Arrius Creek and Ancient Yews along with the linking patch for those two ULs. Wow, more than two years ago...

Time really flies, doesn't it? :)
