Hand Across Space
Blue: Energy emanating from the nebula around the dying star PSR B1509-58. Red: A neighboring gas cloud called RCW 89.

However tersely NASA chooses to describe this, it's wicked cool in my book. And it really does look like a blue hand reaching for a big red energy cloud. Apparently the entire engine behind the display is a single pulsar spinning at 7 rotations per second generating assloads of X-ray radiation.
