Tornado in California
Yep. That's a genuine twister touching down in Riverside, California. That's about 20 miles east of me. Probably the closest I've come yet to being in one outside of Texas and Illinois during family visits. The thunderstorms which brought them were a surprise to most, despite the weather service knowing they were coming. There was heavy rain, hail, cold gusty winds, and yes, snow. But that's global warming for you, right?
