47 Arms

The UN Climate Panel is at it again. Trying to backpedal off of yet another round of false data. This one coming from a deliberate misrepresentation of data concerning sea levels and the Netherlands. Of course, they're in damage control mode again trying to spin that it makes no difference and that the data came from other sources or that they should have said "subject to flooding" rather than what they really said. A commenter on that page sums up the entire hoax thusly:

Hi, I’m 472 years old, 45 feet 11 inches tall. I have 47 arms, 53 legs. I can speak 145 languages in addition to my native tongue of English.

I have a severe case of the hots for Rosie O’Donnell and WH Press Corps(e) member Helen Thomas.

I do not have to follow any of the laws of physics. I do so only when I choose to. I graduated top of the class of 5,532,112 students at Harvard in 1532.

Okay, I must admit there are a few inaccurate facts in the statement above. But I CAN speak English and thus the conclusions of my statement are fully accurate.

The UNCP is already in hot water over false claims about the glaciers in the Himalaya last month. When will they get it through their thick skulls that the hoax has been exposed. We're not falling for their bullshit anymore. They only make bigger fools of themselves every time they open their mouths.

Well. I guess that's that then.

At least they're admitting they were wrong? (I know, way too little much too late... thank you ever so much Al Gore...)

The part of Texas I'm now living in saw roughly two inches of snow this past Friday. While that may not sound particularly remarkable, it really is considering it's the third time this season Houston (just a few hours south of me) got snow this year when it normally only sees snow once every few years, and then not as much as we got just Friday. Guess that's all because of global warming too, right? Just like them having to shut down the D.C. government offices due to the roughly five feet of snow they got there last week was because the globe has been warming up too much too fast too, no? :P
