So, has congress made September 11th an official holiday like Pearl Harbor Day or Armistice Day or... yet? The country certainly is acting like they have. While I agree that we should remember the fallen and, just as importantly, remember the attacks and who attacked, I have to wonder if, nearly a decade later, all those being asked to never forget are even capable of forgetting an event they were too little to be able to remember or are our public education teachers actually utilizing some form of curriculum that will teach what it is that makes September 11th stand out from any other day of the year.. for that matter, do they teach in public schools these days why Pearl Harbor Day and Armistice Day are important either? I know they teach all about Martin Luther King, Jr...
