Public Transportation?

It's a myth. Public transportation is supposed to help clear traffic. It's supposed to make the daily commute that much easier to deal with.

Well they're wrong. Anyone who has ever driven through the cities of Orange County knows what I'm talking about. The buses. They stop at intervals that would make sane people call for a tow. Is it really necessary to put bus stops in every 500 feet? I mean come on. A 3 lane road is effectively reduced to 2 lanes because the buses stop so often that cars just pile up behind them. Well, at least the stupid ones anyway.

Whatever the solution to traffic problems is, I guarantee you that filling the roads with all these buses was not it folks.

Well. I guess that's that then.

Only public transport worth a bloody thing is a subway system. All the benefits, none of the drawbacks. Coolest thing about London, and maybe NYC.

Think on the bright side, too. In New Haven, we start with two lanes, park cars on both sides of the street, then add busses. So it's like you have that entire extra lane to play with.

I'd feel a lot happier about my bus system if it was actually on time for once, too.

What's a "busses?"

We have plow trucks. Are those the same?
