UFO Sighted in Jerusalem

A UFO sighting caught on camera from at least two different perspectives at the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. Toward the end, look very closely at the black sky - there's a series of dull reddish lights that blink on and off in addition to the ball of light that shoots up into the sky at ludicrous speed. They show up better at 720p resolution. Like the reporter says, if this is a hoax, it's a damn good one. Massive unrest in the Middle East? UFO's in Jerusalem? Yeah, you could definitely come up with some interesting explanations.

"It is pointless to resist, my son." -- Darth Vader
"Resistance is futile." -- The Borg
"Mother's coming for me in the dragon ships. I don't like these itchy clothes, but I have to wear them or it frightens the fish." -- Thurindil

Well. I guess that's that then.

Interesting, that it was above where the Temple Mount.

Alrighty then, it'd be way, way too much if the folks who wrote the StarGate series were actually right...

This is me trying to remember what Stargate had to say about the Dome of the Rock.

It's not that Stargate had anything specific to the Dome of the Rock, just the notion of the old gods having really been aliens who's technology levels we still haven't reached and who are coming back to enslave us all again, or to use our world as a battleground between the various gods and that the gods of different cultures weren't all the same because there were actually multiple alien races influencing things here. Of course, if that were the case, while those who represent the Egyptian gods and those who represent the Celtic gods and those who represent the Norse gods and those who represented the Greek/Roman gods, etc are all definitely forces to be very leery of, can you imagine the might and technological advancement of the one who represented the singular God who pretty much defeated them all as the Jewish (and later Christian) God??? While most of us would be perfectly content to say "meh, that's all just scifi fantasy", it's not really nearly as far fetched a possibility as it sounds if you really think about it. Now, I'm not saying it's right and true either here, just that it's not as far fetched and totally implausible as you might think if you just want to toss it out as fantastic nonsense in light of religious doctrine, especially if we've actually got real proof of alien life with technology that dwarfs our own technology levels suddenly.

Hey Wendy Johnson, got something to hide? What the hell?

Perhaps she's sold the rights to the video to some movie producer because it was done as a publicity hoax to begin with? :(

Since whoever Wendy Johnson is has something to hide, I've added a second link to the original post. Footage that was part of the first video, and was the part showing the red orbs in the sky etc.

Nice researching, Samson. :)

Lol, my research consisted of about 30 seconds worth of typing in "ufo sighting jerusalem" at Youtube to find the multitude of other videos. :P

Also, canned the broken one now as it's just screwing up the video player.

Was there anyone who was any closer to it, like, underneath where it was when it dipped down really low, for instance?

The closest one was the video that Wendy Johnson had taken down. There aren't any others from closer in. I'm not even sure that the Arabs allow anyone to get that close to the Dome of the Rock with video equipment. If there's security footage from their own systems it hasn't been leaked yet.

It would be interesting to see what it looked like from around the Dome of the Rock (or even just from a closer spot outside it). Or hear any eyewitness reports from that kind of distance. Its possible it may well look different from directly below, or maybe even not appear at all.

Honestly, I'd expect their security footage would all be aimed at, or near, ground level rather than above the dome since generally security cameras are set-up to watch people walking on the grounds and in the buildings and such for most sites. But it probably would've been interesting to see from the ground looking up. If it's a hoax of some sort it might've been much more obvious from that perspective.
