Truck Fire
10 Injured in Tunnel Fire on California Freeway
Five flaming big rigs combined to create blaze after a 15-truck pileup on rain-slicked Golden State Freeway.

That's no good at all. Traffic in this area is going to be a mess for weeks if they have to demolish the bridge. CNN also had a comment on this saying that CalTrans people were able to "easily knock concrete off with a hammer" so it's not looking too good.

Update Oct. 19, 2007:

The toll on this was later revised up to 31 vehicles. 30 semis and one auto. However the last I heard on this there were only 22 people accounted for, including the 3 who died. So there's 9 drivers still missing.
